Yogyakarta, STIB Kumala Nusa – Driven by a passion to keep pace with developments in education and science, the Pura Kumala Foundation has decided to propose changing the format of AMA YPK to a higher education institution. This decision has received full support from lecturers, staff, and the academic community.

Although the evaluation process for the change in format was lengthy, this did not deter the Pura Kumala Foundation from striving to oversee this transformation. Today, their hard work paid off. The Head of the Higher Education Service Institution Region V, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari., S.E., M.Kom., Akt, accompanied by the Secretary of the Institution, Bhimo Widyo Andoko., S.H., M.H., Head of the Administrative Section of LLDikti Region V, Coordinator of Higher Education Quality Improvement for LLDikti Region V, and Supervisor of External Quality Improvement Facilitation for LLDikti Region V, were present at STIB Kumala Nusa to hand over Decree No. 147/E/O/2021 concerning the permit to change the form of AMA YPK Yogyakarta to STIB Kumala Nusa.

"The success of this change in form is inseparable from the guidance, direction, and direction of LLDikti Region V. We will always maintain our commitment to comply with all regulations in the operation of STIB Kumala Nusa," said the Chairman of the Pura Kumala Foundation in his remarks.

The next event was the reading of a copy of the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia concerning the Permit to Change the Form of AMA YPK Yogyakarta to STIB Kumala Nusa by the Coordinator of Higher Education Quality Improvement, Sukarsono Windu Kumoro, S.Kom., M.Kom.

Before the event concluded, the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution Region V, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari., S.E., M.Kom., Akt., stated, "This is just the beginning, as there are still many challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic. STIB Kumala Nusa must have resilience not only in terms of health but also financially and academically."

Congratulations! Today, a new higher education entity has been born in Yogyakarta, the Kumala Nusa College of Business Sciences.
