Welcoming New Students with STIBSA's Student Basic Week (PANDAWA)

The implementation of PANDAWA (Student Foundation Week) at STIB Kumala Nusa, held from September 5-10, 2022, was attended by almost all new STIBSA students. PANDAWA is an orientation event for new students to introduce them to the campus environment. The six-day event began with an opening ceremony led by the Head of STIB Kumala Nusa, Anung Pramudyo, S.E., M.M., and continued with a public lecture and academic orientation.

Separately, the Head of STIB Kumala Nusa also stated that "PANDAWA is designed to equip students with both knowledge and character development. The PANDAWA program includes a public lecture, academic orientation, nationality lectures, smart spirituality, and achievement motivation training (AMT). It is hoped that students will find it easier to adapt to and adapt to campus."

On the second day, a nationality lecture was held, featuring a cultural expert, Dr. Eddy Pursubaryanto, Dipl.TESL., M.Hum., delivered material on ethics, customs, and culture in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), as most students at the Kumala Nusa STIB Campus come from outside Yogyakarta and Java. Another speaker, Bandi, S.H., M.H., a legal staff member at the Indonesian Army's 072/PMK Regional Military Command (KOREM) explained Pancasila and national insight.

On the third and fourth days, all new students participated in AMT (achievement motivation training). Not only did they listen to the speakers' presentations, but they were also invited to play a ringtoss game. In this ringtoss game, students were trained to be confident in their decision-making, as they reflect future leaders. The Smart Spiritual Training (SSP) held on the fifth day for Muslim and Christian students was also very solemn. During this Smart Spiritual training, students received spiritual nourishment, which is expected to deepen their love for God Almighty.

As part of the closing ceremony of the PANDAWA event, the entire academic community of STIB Kumala Nusa participated in a flash mob, a fun walk with the theme of "reresik" (cleaning up trash found on the street). This was followed by a BEM and UKM Show, showcasing various student activity units on the STIBSA campus.
